[Acision] has been selected by Meteor Mobile Communications, the Irish mobile operator, to help the company enable the secure use of mobile services for all subscribers. Meteor is taking steps to help protect its young users from accessing unsuitable mobile content on their handsets while still enjoying the advantages of relevant and appropriate content. [Acision’s] URL Filtering System will provide Meteor’s customers better control over the sites that they can access. Part of [Acision's] Content Control suite, the system is designed to filter and categorise all URLs being accessed on the network and block according to the user’s profile.
