Portuguese mobile operator Optimus has selected [Acision’s] Media Services Platform to provide IP voicemail and videomail to its customers. This will enable Optimus to launch innovative advanced services such as unified messaging and a media services portal and will be the first step towards encouraging user-generated content.
José Pinto Correia, chief technological at Optimus said: "[Acision] has continually demonstrated their global expertise in providing IP voicemail and videomail solutions. We selected them as we required a new IP based Media Services Platform that could deliver multiple applications both today and in the future."
