Rory Buckley, Chief Executive Officer

Rory Buckley joined Acision in October 2007 and is the Chief Executive Officer of Acision, the global leader in messaging and charging.

Rory joined Acision from Ericsson where his accomplishments over 30 years have seen him advance from technical trainee to multiple top executive positions across EMEA, North America and Asia Pacific. These included tenures as Executive Vice President Middle East and Africa, Executive Vice President USA and finally President and Head of Ericsson, North East Asia.

Before taking responsibility for Ericsson’s commitments to BT worldwide in 1989, Rory was involved in the introduction of GSM into the UK, after which he headed up R&D for the UK market. In 1999, Rory moved to Dallas, USA, taking over Ericsson’s account for AT&T Wireless and its affiliate companies.

Returning back to the UK in 2001, Rory became President and General Manager of the newly formed Market Unit, North Western Europe, later advancing to President of Ericsson Limited, Country Manager for the UK and board member for LM Ericsson in Ireland. In 2003, Rory became Head of the Vodafone Global Customer Unit.

Rory’s wealth of management experience and market sector expertise makes him uniquely qualified to lead the growth of Acision as a company synonymous with both portfolio innovation and pre-eminence in its field.

Louis Corrigan, Chief Technical Officer, Acision

Louis Corrigan, Chief Technical Officer

Louis Corrigan joined Acision, the global leader in messaging and charging in October 2007 as Chief Technical Officer.

Louis has over 25 years of Telecoms industry experience gained in a wide variety of roles focused on the introduction of new technologies. He has a comprehensive understanding of the operational and commercial issues involved in running cellular networks and has been a prodigious contributor of white papers and a regular industry conference speaker.

With a degree in computer science and electrical engineering, Louis’ initial telecoms experience was in fixed line switching. Over the years his career progressed to the research, design, development and introduction of digital cellular technologies. For the last 15 years he has worked extensively with operators and standards bodies, ETSI, WAP Forum, OMA and 3GPP to evolve new technologies and have them defined as part of network standards.

Louis was also involved in the definition of SMS and cell broadcast messaging in both GSM and PDC (Japan and South Korea) networks, as well as being involved in their first commercial deployments.

Louis is an experienced CTO notably with Accuris Networks and Mobile Cohesion where he was responsible for technical strategy and the introduction of new products and technologies. More recently Louis has been working as a technology consultant.

With his extensive knowledge and wealth of experience Louis is uniquely qualified to develop a technology strategy that ensures Acision builds on its core strengths and remains the undisputed market leader in the areas of messaging and charging.

Stephen Harvey, Chief Financial Officer

Stephen Harvey, Chief Financial Officer

As chief financial officer, Stephen Harvey is responsible for financial operations, investor relations, information services, purchasing, facilities and order management at Acision, the world’s leading messaging company.

With 20 years experience in the technology sector, Stephen has a wealth of experience in both finance and general management, having operated at CFO, CIO, COO and CEO levels. Stephen completed 15 years at Microsoft where he joined in 1990 and was part of the Management Team that grew turnover from £17m to what has become a £2bn business.

With a strong commercial background in finance Stephen is both an AMCA qualified accountant as well as a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel.
 

Janet Turner, HR Director, Acision

Janet Turner, HR Director

Janet is HR Director of Acision, formerly the LogicaCMG Telecoms Products division that was acquired by an investment consortium led by Atlantic Bridge Ventures in June 2007. 

Janet joined LogicaCMG in October 2004 as HR Director, with overall responsibility for the leadership and worldwide coordination of HR activities across the Telecoms Division. Prior to this Janet worked in senior HR roles with HP and Compaq, and was involved with two of the computer industry’s major mergers, Digital/Compaq, and Compaq/HP.

Janet has developed the business impact of HR through the engagement and development of key talent and the introduction of a business partner model. She has also introduced HR strategies that enhance the engagement and retention of staff, and improved the provision of HR services within the company.

Henk de Boer, Executive Vice President, Business Units

Henk de Boer, Executive Vice President, Business Units

Henk de Boer is the Executive Vice President, Business Units for Acision and a member of the Executive Team driving the company’s ongoing strategic development.

In 1998, Henk started as a management consultant with CMG, before quickly moving into the telecoms arena. Initially he was responsible for managing and coordinating 15 global implementation managers involved with fast track telecoms projects, where quality, time to market and budget were foremost.

As Director of Delivery, Purchasing & Logistics, Henk was soon heavily involved with the winning and subsequent successful delivery of CMG’s largest single contract . In 2004, Henk became Senior Vice President of LogicaCMG’s messaging business during which time the company grew to a market leading position serving over 300 network operators and service providers with over 1100 installed products across the globe. Henk also played a leading role in helping to manage the smooth transition to Acision.

Henk’s strong management and strategic skills will help to ensure that Acision’s business units remain focused, delivering growth and maintaining the company’s leading market position in both messaging and charging.

Chris Jenkins, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Marketing Development

As executive vice president, marketing and market development, Chris Jenkins is responsible for corporate marketing, partner activities and developing growth markets at Acision, the world’s leading messaging company.

With 25 years experience in the retail and technology sectors, Chris has a wealth of experience in merger & acquisitions, marketing and developing growth markets. Chris has held leadership positions with Openwave, Bytemobile and Ericsson, as managing director Chris was responsible for growing Ericsson’s UK Satellite business from $2m to $200m.
