These courses are technically focused towards application administrators involved in the daily operation and maintenance of a defined solution. All coursework combines theory with hands-on exercises covering configuration and troubleshooting techniques to provide engineers with the experience necessary to assure the maximum quality and performance of the delivered solution and includes details on how to access Acision support services. In addition to product courses, platform and product delta (covering differences between new and old releases) courses are also included at the BOC level. All delta courses include the same practical focus as the standard BOC courses, but focused on the product differences.
For experienced operators and or test and service development engineers Acision offers advanced operator courses (AOC) providing in-depth knowledge on specific topics like security and SS7. Advanced courses also cover solution and protocol specific implementation and configuration details.
Product certification brings together both focused theoretical and practical courses and targeted learning measurements. The result being a certification pathway that ensures suitably skilled customer staff capable of maximising platform uptime and handling system changes as required. Currently certification is available for SMSC with more products joining the programme all the time.
