Acision’s Mobile Data Services solutions deliver a wide range of value added services and capabilities. These services help our customers unlock and protect the full potential of their mobile communication channels, with the aim of increasing return on investment. To achieve this, Acision’s Mobile Data Services strategy is focused on providing a wide range of innovative messaging services, while maximising the profitability of existing messaging systems, and – at the same time - supporting operators to be successful in the evolution to all-IP networks.

Acision’s Mobile Data Services portfolio is based on Acision’s Mobile Data Services architecture which provides access for service providers and application developers to the mobile ecosystem. This has been designed to facilitate a new wave of services enabling mobile operators to extend their business models and generate new revenue streams.

The three layers of Acision's Mobile Data Services architecture seamlessly integrate, using published, standards based interfaces. The Open Connectivity Framework connects to different network technologies and provides efficient core service functionality such as message routing and delivery, security, and basic call handling. The Framework supports all communication services – SMS, MMS, RCS(-e), Email and Voice in a single platform. The middle layer, the Open Services Ecosystem, hosts advanced features, for example, group messaging, parental control, enterprise services, and advertising insertion. These advanced features can be applied to the core services across different bearers to provide a seamless user experience. These services can be delivered in-network, managed, hosted or as a (private) cloud service. In addition, the Open Web Framework provides controlled access to the operators’ messaging services and capabilities, using web services on which access policies are applied.
