Acision Broadband Messaging Service Centre

The take-up of over-the-top (OTT) services and consumers’ requirements for enhanced communications experience, have drastically changed the mobile messaging landscape. Acision Broadband Messaging Service Center (BMSC) enables mobile operators to differentiate through a rich and truly seamless messaging experience, building on Acision’s track record in mobile messaging and its expertise in SIP and IP. Acision BMSC provides the core services of the RCS and RCS-e initiatives, including instant messaging, group chat, file transfer and video sharing, as well as a store and forward functionality in the event that the destination device is off-line.

Beyond the standards, the Acision solution provides truly Seamless Messaging through interconnect with the global SMS community and social network chat services such as Facebook messenger and Google Talk. This provides consumers interaction with the global mobile community of 5 billion users from day one of RCS/RCS-e introduction. Acision BMSC extends the existing SMS user experience to RCS/RCS-e, monetising existing messaging assets such as premium SMS services and SMS content and applications.

Acision BMSC is delivered in a pre-integrated end-to-end solution, including a basic IMS Core, application interface and clients. It greatly reduces CAPEX requirements for RCS-e introduction through a cloud based delivery option and consolidation of all messaging services, including SMS MMS RCS and RCS-e on a single platform.
