Acision teams up with 160characters for first breakfast briefing of 2012
On the 26th of January, Acision will be hosting a breakfast briefing with leading SMS and mobile messaging association 160characters - the second in a series of breakfast briefing sessions.
The session, which will be held in a Central London location, will comprise two panel discussions and the opportunity for networking over a light breakfast. The first panel will discuss Innovation in Messaging, the second panel will discuss Mobile Payments, both moderated by Teresa Cottam of Telesperience.
Acision predicts a shift in the messaging landscape in 2012, evolving beyond the services we know today and providing a platform for enriched personalised messaging services. These services have the potential to increase messaging revenues by up to 15 per cent, while vastly improving the messaging experience and relevance for the end-user. This evolution in messaging goes hand-in-hand with mobile payments, as organisations seek new transaction options and revenue streams from mobile. The ubiquity of SMS, across all networks and all devices, makes it the obvious platform for brands looking to leverage mobile to enhance their consumer reach and ultimately their bottom-line.
The panel session promises to stimulate a lively debate on the evolution of mobile messaging and the role it will play in the development of the mobile payments industry.
